Split Ice Cream

Split was created on the idea that flavor can be communicated through the use of color and pattern. The watercolors are meant to illicit the feeling of the delightful flavors of the ice cream hitting the taste buds. The black lids and lines are worked into the branding, meant to ‘split’ through the colors and create more of a grounded feel. The small type is meant to have a slight connection to the linear signs of the 1950’s ice cream shops, giving more of an artisanal feel.
